By accessing or using PlayQueens ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PlayQueens. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate information
Keep your login credentials secure
Be responsible for all activity under your account
Notify us of any unauthorized access

You can play as a guest without an account, but some features (like leaderboards and progress saving) require registration.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use bots, scripts, or automated tools (we value real humans solving real puzzles)
Manipulate leaderboards or game stats (the numbers mean something to us)
Harass other players or use offensive display names (we're all here to think, not fight)
Attempt to access other users' accounts
Interfere with the Service's operation
Use the Service for any illegal purpose

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (display names, feedback, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it in connection with the Service. We may remove content that violates these terms.

Intellectual Property

The Queens puzzle format is based on the N-Queens problem, a classic mathematical puzzle in the public domain. The Service's code, design, branding, and original puzzles are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary elements without permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but these terms survive where applicable.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We'll notify you of significant changes.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration. By using the Service, you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
